Apply for Early Learning for Children Six Weeks to Four Years Old

The FCPS PreK and Early Head Start program is accepting applications for SY 2024-25. FCPS PreK and Early Head Start programs provide a high-quality early learning experience for qualifying income-eligible children ages six weeks to four years living in Fairfax County.

Community Forums on Middle School Start Times

FCPS is exploring options for adjusting middle school start times and invites the public to be part of the process. Prismatic Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, will lead the forums.

Superintendent’s Community Conversations

Join the superintendent in April and May for a series of Community Conversations. Your voice matters! Share your thoughts about FCPS and bring your questions.

Summer Camps

Register now for FCPS summer camps, including Tech Adventure Camp for current grade K-5 students, Elementary Institute for the Arts (EIFTA) for current grade 2-5 students, Institute for the Arts (IFTA) for current grade 6-11 students, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Academy for current grade 6-11 students.

No-Cost Online Tutoring Service

Students have unlimited access to online tutoring support services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.

Important Immunization Requirement: Do You Have a Student Entering Seventh Grade or Twelfth Grade This Fall?

Seventh grade students cannot begin school in August without documentation of the Tdap booster and Meningococcal vaccine, and twelfth grade students also need documentation of the Meningococcal vaccine.
