Learn more about the history of Freedom Hill Elementary School.
The Freedom Hill building has served the rapidly changing Tyson's Corner area of the Vienna and Falls Church communities since 1949. At present, the student body represents more than 45 countries of origin and 40 different languages. Dedicated and talented staff members collaborate with parents and community to ensure an inviting, child-centered environment with an emphasis on academic excellence and a positive school culture that honors diversity. There is a strong focus on the development of Portrait of a Graduate skills, innovative instructional practices, and the use of instructional technology tools across the curriculum to increase engagement and foster life-long learning in students.
